\\\\\\\\ ===      MUST READ      === ////////
THESE ARE PLANS ONLY.

The steam / air engine itself is   NOT FOR SALE   just the plans to build it.

FOR SALE

Plans for building the steam / air engine shown in the picture of this ad.

At 1 psi, it is nearly silent

Crank it up and it power chugs!

Just like the big boys!

Don’t let the others fool you with multiple plans on one CD.

Most do not even show what their plans are for and you are not going to get what you want.

***   Trust me I have been there   ***

These plans are my CAD drawings on 8-1/2” x 11” size paper for easy use.

These plans will build the steam engine shown in the pictures of this ad.

These prints are as simple as they can get.

About the engine

It is a two stroke,   stationary,   horizontal engine.

It has a 1” piston,   1-1/2” stroke and a large 4-1/2” diameter flywheel.

I have seen others with the same bore and stroke that claim to have one horsepower at 20 psi,

I run this one with compressed air just to keep it clean.

Sure,   you can run things with it

I like to rev it up to 10 psi, and then down again just to see how slow it can go.

My own designed -- slotted cylindrical slide valve -- powers the piston in both directions.

I think it’s therapeutic.   My friend calls it brain medicine.

While building the engine I drew up the CAD models.

I did the CAD drawings later cross checking everything with the engine as I went along.

It’s my own creation built just from pictures and memories from threshing shows past.

THIS THING IS BUILT TOUGH

Again, these drawings are as simple as they can get.

------- YOU CAN DO THIS -------

The 3 & 4 view drawings show one component per 8-1/2” x 11” size print.

I did this to eliminate any confusion.   I hate large confusing assembly drawings.

The plan is you take one print per day.

Each component only takes on average of 1 to 2 hours to build.

Before you know it,   you will have an engine that runs superb.

It’s so classy you’ll want to display it on your mantle.

What a conversation piece it is.

I built mine after work an hour or two at a time.

As soon as word got out that I had it running,   there was a steady stream of people coming in to see it.

One person stated,   “You need to enter it in a show and you’ll be guarantied to win.”

I am thinking to myself,   oh yea that is just what I need,   a blue ribbon.

No castings or foundry work needed.

All the materials are off the shelf cold rolled steel and brass from my local steel yard.

All the hardware was from local hardware stores.

The wood base is oak pallet wood that was being thrown out.

A little sanding and some all in one stain & varnish and you have a masterpiece that looks stunning.

Included with the plans are.

Notes on assembly,   timing,   start-up and break-in,   and techniques on how I built certain components.

DON'T SETTLE FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL

OSCILLATING TYPE ENGINE

THIS IS THE REAL THING AND JUST AS EASY TO BUILD

WARNING

I designed and built this engine to resemble the old classy machines.

It has no guards on any of the moving parts.   In the past, the old threshers had no guards either.

What I am trying to say is use common sense.

Wear safety glasses and do not go putting 6000 psi, to this thing trying to get 500 horsepower out of it.

You could lose an eye or something worse.
