This is a replica battle of Yavin Medal as worn by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: A New Hope. The medal was given to Luke by Princess Leia Organa in the final scene of the film.
The original master was hand made out of clay using all available reference photos of the original. The prop is cast from durable resin (just like the original) and was painted gold. The ribbon is US military surplus material.
This prop is a must have for the Luke or Leia ceremonial costume.
It also makes a nice display next to your autographed photo or Star Wars prop collection.
