Stanley No 4 Type 13 Hand Plane Tote Template Set Inspired by Dave Corinth

I started talking with Dave Corinth in November last year (2024) about offering Stanley Knob and Tote templates to our vintage equipment restoration customers. Dave said "I think that's a great idea" and 7 months later we introduced the first set of a series

The template in this listing was modeled from a No 4 Type 13 Tote. It can also be used to assist in making No 3 Totes and various other types however there are some subtle differences to be aware of from type to type.

If you have a router table and a ~0.925in. bullnose bearing router bit. (Dave uses the Lee Valley 16J4010 adjustable round-over router bit) This template set will assist you in making your own replacement totes
