Stainless Steel Finger Traps

Stainless Steel Finger Traps are reusable. Wrap the patient’s finger with sterile tape before application and the Stainless Steel Finger Trap will be secure without causing skin trauma.

Available in four sizes: extra-small, small, medium, and large. Sold individually


Sterilization Recommendations: Clean with any standard disinfectant prior to sterilization.

  Sterilize the finger trap before each use

 1.     Steam Sterilization General Instructions

 Follow standard hospital sterilization practices.

 A.    Place Clean Finger Traps in an instrument tray.

B.    Follow the instructions below for recommended sterilization processes.

 2.     Pre-Vacuum Steam Sterilization

 A.    Place Finger Traps in a CSR wrap prior to sterilization.

B.    Set temperature to 132 degrees Celsius.

C.    Set exposure time for 4 minutes.

 3.     Gravity Steam Sterilization

 A.    Place Finger Traps (unwrapped) into instrument tray.

B.    Set temperature to 132 degrees Celsius.

C.    Set exposure time for 4 minutes.

 After cleaning, store in accordance with standard hospital operating procedures to maintain cleanliness. Inspect Finger Trap before and after each use.

    If the Finger Trap is split or frayed, DO NOT USE. Handle and dispose of in accordance with accepted medical practice and applicable laws and regulations.
