SpinCandy™ Isolators are a high-performance, no-compromise solution that won't break the bank. These are designed and manufactured by us (Harari Products Ltd.) in Colorado, USA and are made from high quality Thermoplastic Polyurethane (a durable and flexible material) similar to Sorbothane. They are engineered to achieve maximum reduction in vibration and shock, while maintaining the classic look of the original Technics part. They also allow you to easily level the turntable in the same way as the originals, by simply loosening or tightening the feet with your hand. There are no tools or shims required, unlike some alternatives. Please note that the screw may look slightly different than shown in the pictures, in order to fit your model turntable.
You probably already know that vibration damping is done best by using rubber, silicone, or other flexible materials (VISCOELASTIC POLYMERS of which Sorbothane™ is a name brand of). You probably also know that when it comes to isolating objects from vibration, there is nothing better than space or AIR for complete isolation. A few things to keep in mind:
- After installing SpinCandy (TM) feet, it's perfectly fine to use the turntable right away, however, please be aware there is a short break-in period. The turntable may feel a little stiff and look a bit tall at first, but will take 1-2 days to reach optimum height and performance.
- Just like shoes for your feet, and just like the original Technics feet, these will eventually wear out. They'll need to be replaced, so enjoy the cost savings and consider buying an extra set for later. These can be safely stored without losing their isolating and damping properties. Q: How many feet are included? What else is included?
A: 3 feet plus everything you need to replace all the feet on your turntable, are included. The feet are fully assembled and ready to put on your turntable. There might be some free "goodies" included with your order, when available.
Q: How can I get support? What if I don't like them?

Q: Are SpinCandy™ M1 Isolators made from Sorbothane™? What is the difference between Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Sorbothane™?
A: Sorbothane™ is a name-brand material and no one really knows how it's made. The manufacturer states: "Sorbothane is a... viscoelastic... thermoset... polyurethane".
We use high quality thermoplastic polyurethane which is likely very similar if not the same as Sorbothane™. Our material's viscoelastic properties and (more importantly) the engineered internal structure create a superior isolator.
Q: Are all Sorbothane™ or thermoplastic polyurethane isolators the same?
A: No. A turntable isolator needs to be designed and tuned for the weight of the turntable, the targeted vibration frequencies, shock absorption goals, and longevity requirements, etc. The internal structure and tuning is the most important factor. They shouldn't be solid as this will transfer most of the vibration and motion to the turntable.
Q: Are other Sorbothane™ products I'm considering purchasing actually made from Sorbothane™?
A: Sorbothane™ is either licensed from or sold by the manufacturer, "Sorbothane". When purchased from them, Sorbothane supplies proof of authenticity. If authenticity is not proven, the product is likely not made from Sorbothane™. The internal structure of the foot, and how it's designed is a much greater factor in achieving performance than the likely small differences in viscoelastic material.
Q: Are other colors available?
A: Not yet. The product is still very new, but if there is popular demand we will likely offer a translucent red and/or a translucent Blue. ABOUT ME AND HOW I SET PRICES ON MY PRODUCTS:
I am a professional Industrial Designer with a degree in the field from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. I am still paying off my student loans.
I design all of my products through sketching by hand, prototyping, and using CAD software on my computer. The computer and software have a high cost and I spend many hours enjoying this part of the design process, but I do have to charge for my time and expenses.
I spend around 100-200 hours on each product, designing, testing, and working out the problems until I have a good product. I enjoy this process very much, but I have to put a price on my time.
I make All of my own products in my shop or studio and they take hours to manufacture each one. Many involve 3D printing, machining on my lathe or milling machine, cutting on my CNC plasma cutter or CNC router. The finished product requires post-processing (touching up by hand), and maintenance, setup and operation of machines during the manufacturing process. Again, I enjoy it but have to put a price on my time and pay for my expensive machines.
I often spend many hours to research what people want in a high quality and low cost product. I want my customers to enjoy and be satisfied with the products they buy from me. I often customize and change my products based on feedback. Again, I enjoy this very much but have to price my time.
My ideas and designs are sometimes stolen by other sellers and it costs me time and money to rectify those issues. This is the least enjoyable aspect of creation, and again, I have to put a price on my time.
