Combat operations - 1st formation: Barvenkovo-Lozovskaya operation, Kharkov operation, Operation "Uranus", 2nd formation: Belgorod-Kharkov strategic offensive operation, Bereznegovato-Snigirevsk offensive operation, Odessa offensive operation, Iasi-Kishinev operation, Belgrade operation, Apatin-Kaposvár operation, Balaton defensive operation, Vienna offensive operation, Graz-Amstetten offensive operation. As part of the fronts - 1st formation: Southern Front, Southwestern Front, Southeastern Front, Stalingrad Front, Don Front, 2nd formation: Southwestern Front, 3rd Ukrainian Front. After the Victory in 1945, the army was disbanded.
