The Medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the USSR on May 9, 1945.

The medal “30 Years of the Soviet Army and Navy” was awarded to all generals, admirals, officers, petty officers, sergeants, soldiers and sailors who were in the Armed Forces of the USSR, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of State Security as of February 23, 1948.

The Medal "In Memory of the 250th Anniversary of Leningrad" is a state award of the USSR. It was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on May 16, 1957 in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the city of Leningrad to award participants in the defense of Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War and for other services to the Hero City.
