A tremendously useful blend of old and new design, this three-piece set is comprised of two newer tools a Bottom Feeder Gouge and a Negative Rake Curved Scraper - and the popular Fingernail Bowl Gouge. 3/8 in. Fingernail Bowl Gouge: The fingernail grind provides an increased cutting edge. This allows for "pull" cuts, heavy profiling cuts, and fine, delicate, shearing cuts. 3/8 in. Bottom Feeder Bowl Gouge: Has a standard profile grind for ease of use and re-sharpening on the ProEdge or any other grinder system. Its polished 60-degree bevel puts a smooth refined cut in the bottom of the bowl. A 45-degree secondary bevel gives clearance during each cut, allowing for a smooth unblemished surface. 1 in. Negative Rake Curved Profile Scraper: Scraper is 1 in. wide for excellent stability and control. Its 60-degree relief angle and 60-degree negative rake gives a perfect cutting edge for a great surface finish and ease of use. An outstanding set of bowl turning tools!
