This wall switch comes with a special Somfy Low Voltage Mounting Bracket, which allows you to mount the switch on drywall without an electrical box. While the bracket can be used for standalone applications, its special design also supports seamless installation next to an existing Decora style light switch. The bracket creates the necessary spacing for two adjacent switches and one 2-gang faceplate, resulting in a clean, all-in-one appearance.
In addition to wall mounting, the DecoFlex WireFree RTS Wall Switch also supports tabletop placement and handheld use when installed in a Somfy DecoFlex WireFree RTS Table Top Accessory (sold separately).
