Isolation control

Reverse connection protection
In order to prevent accidental reverse connection from causing damage to the device, the M1DCB24XXSS is designed with a power supply reverse connection protection circuit. Using Infineon's low-impedance high-power PMOS as the core unit, it has the advantages of small size, large current, small voltage drop, and low loss compared to a single anti-reverse diode protection circuit.
Overcurrent protection
When the motor load is too large or stalled, the driver will turn off the output. At the same time, all control terminal signals will be ignored.

Over temperature shutdown
M1DCB24XXSS integrates precision temperature sensing to achieve over-temperature protection. When the temperature is higher than the thermal shutdown temperature Tisd, the device will be triggered to turn off the output and this state will be locked and maintained. During this period, all control signals will be ignored. The over-temperature protection flag can only be cleared when the temperature drops below the thermal switch-on temperature (Tjso) and the device is restarted.
Soft start
M1DCB24XXSS has a time-adjustable soft-start function. After its internal processor detects the drive signal at the control end, it will automatically determine the soft-start time St according to the value of the soft-start knob. Then the processor begins to output the The PWM signal increases linearly from 0% to 100%. This function can effectively solve the problem of large starting current of the DC motor and insufficient power supply, resulting in the inability to start the motor, and large power fluctuations caused by direct starting of the motor.
Soft stop
M1DCB24XXSS has a time-adjustable soft stop function. After its internal processor detects the stop signal at the control end, it will automatically determine the soft stop time Bt based on the value of the soft stop knob. Then the processor begins to output the The PWM signal linearly decreases from 100% to 0%. This function can effectively protect the motor and solve problems such as large power fluctuations caused when the motor stops directly.
