(History of New Hope Children's Home)... It was started in 1995 in the city of Arequipa, Peru for abandoned, abused and at risk children. Since that time, we have taken in over 500 children, and have seen so many children find families and healing. We are also currently working closely with the local government in Peru to implement a family based care system (family support, foster care, adoption, etc.) that takes better care of not only the children in our care but for every single child in the social services system in Peru!
