Camshaft Specifications: The E1840P engine camshaft, designed for LS-series engines, is of the hydraulic roller type. At a 0.050" lift, the intake duration is 228°, and the exhaust duration is 230°. Both intake and exhaust valve lift are 0.585". The lobe separation angle is 112°, and the intake centerline is 108°. The advertised intake duration is 283°, and the advertised exhaust duration is 286°. These specs ensure efficient intake and exhaust for stable engine operation
Valve Spring Parameters: The 1218 drop-in valve springs are precisely designed. The outer spring has an outside diameter of 1.290 in and an inside diameter of 0.885 in, with a coil bind height of 1.140 in. Without a damper spring, it has an install load of 130 lbs at an install height of 1.800 in. When open, the height is 1.175 in with an open load of 318 lbs and a spring rate of 313 lbs/in. These parameters enable stable valve opening and closing under various engine conditions
