Why does nasal irrigation make my sinuses burn? 

Some people’s sinuses cavities are particularly sensitive during a nasal rinse. It’s commonly thought that the sensitivity is caused by too much salt, but in fact, that may not be the case. When burning or stinging occurs, it may be because your solution needs more salt.
