To record in 1080P resolution, buyer have to connect 1080P AHD-H signal camera to the DVR. To record in 720P resolution, buyer have to connect 720P AHD-M signal camera to the DVR. If buyer connect old analog camera 1500TVL or less to the DVR, DVR will automatically downgrade back to 960H resolution.T
