LIN protocol passenger seat occupancy sensor emulator for Mercedes A-Class W176, B-Class W246 or SLK R172. Installation: Turn off the ignition and disconnect the yellow connector under passenger seat front (See photo 3 for reference only not included). Replace the outer module connector shells with those attached to the emulator module, after carefully pushing the original shells backwards out of the housing with a screwdriver. A OBDII diagnostic tool to may be required to clear logged faults if the SRS light remains on for over a minute after installation.

Reference: The larger of the two connector shells provides a ‘Passenger Seat Occupied’ signal which requires the belt to be buckled. The smaller connector provides the system with a permanent ‘Passenger Seat Belt Buckled’ signal and will turn off the seat belt alarm.
