Schluter Systems DITRA-HEAT cable is an advanced underfloor heating solution designed to provide warmth and comfort to any space while optimizing energy efficiency. It is ideal for use under a wide range of floor tiles, such as ceramic tile, granite tile, marble tile, porcelain tile, cement tile, mosaic tile, natural stone tile, and glass tile. Additionally, it is compatible with vinyl plank and laminate flooring, offering flexibility to extend warmth to areas like the shower, bathrooms, bathtub surrounds, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, hallways, foyers, entryways, and other living spaces.
The DITRA-HEAT cable integrates effortlessly with Schluter’s uncoupling membranes, including DITRA-HEAT and DITRA-HEAT-DUO, and Peel & Stick membrane roll or sheets, which provide essential crack prevention and ensure a strong bond with the tiled surface.
The membrane installation requires the correct thin-set mortar. For plywood subfloors, use ALL-SET modified thin-set mortar; for concrete, use SET unmodified mortar adhesive to ensure durability and longevity. Once the membrane is installed, the cable is easily snapped into place, delivering consistent and comfortable warmth across the entire floor.
It comes with two temperature sensors that provide accurate temperature readings from the tiled floor to the thermostat. This ensures precise control of the floor heating system, ensuring precise control, energy savings and optimizing comfort.
This makes it a highly efficient floor heating system suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
