The Schlage Single Cylinder Deadbolt features a Strong, All-Metal Chassis with a Full 1-Inch Throw Bolt to protect against invasions that involve Kick-Ins, Lock Picks, Crowbars, Saws, Wrenches or Hammers Intended for use on Exterior Doors where Substantial Resistance is Required, this Deadbolt is designed to fit existing Pre-Drilled Holes in most Standard Doors Set includes a Patented Steel Strike Reinforcer Plate with 3" Long Heavy Gauge Screws that penetrate the door jamb and into the stud wall for Added Security Locks and Unlocks from the outside with a key and from the Inside with a Thumbturn Lever Fully Reversible Deadbolt Set Fits Both Right Handed and Left Handed Doors Fits a 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" Thick Door with a Standard 2-3/8" Backset Easily Installs in Minutes with Just a Screwdriver in a Pre-Drilled Door This Set Requires a Centered 7/8" Dia. Cross Bore Hole in the Door Edge for the Latch Case and a 1-1/2" Dia. Hole in the Door Face Centered 2-3/8" from the Door Edge for the Lock Mechanism (a template is included) An Optional Trim Collar is included for use on an existing 2-1/8" Dia. Door Face Pre-Drilled hole
