Sand Crab / Sand Flea Catcher - Stainless Steel 🎣

An indispensable tool that can be used by any recreational surf angler targeting fish that feeds on Sand Crabs or Sand Fleas as they are called on the east coast.

The dimensions are 7.25” x 4.75” Mouth is 4.5” in diameter, about 8oz in weight. This is a handmade assembled item in the USA. The dimension may deviate a little and there could be some minor blemishes but in no way affects the performance. Let me know if you have any questions before buying. 

The best way to harvest the sand crab is to locate a bed of sand crabs. Wait for the tide to cover the bed and insert the catcher into the sand as the tide is retreating, scoop upward gently. Rinse the catcher in the surf until the crabs remain. Repeat if needed.

As with all items exposed to salt water we recommend/encourage a freshwater rinse and air dried after each use to extend the life of the product. This product is not meant for long term/constant exposure to saltwater as this is not a professional grade tool. SOLD AS IS
