sabal x brazoria 50 seeds 2024

This offer is for 50 seeds of our Sabal x brazorias. This is the flat leaved form, regular form or also sometimes called green form. This form is still quite blueish but still less so than the other form. If you've bought brazorias from me before this is what you have unless specified. This form is a very reliable grower and seed producer. These even produced seeds after our 2018 cold event with several days below freezing and a low of 4f. Most of our other Sabals took a break that year from flowering but not this variety, showing its hybrid vigor. I also have a costa palmate blue form. This form is faster growing than S.minor and are similar to S.louisiana and were often previously confused with S.louisianas. Sabal x brazorias are variable and are an old hybrid between Sabal palmetto and Sabal minor. Some will be more like one or the other or somewhere in between. This form tends to have flatter leaves and may have more S.minor than other forms or backcrossed in the wild with minors. With that said these are also different than Sabal Minors in leaf and in flower and even flower at slightly different times than minor or louisiana.  Hardy to zone 7b at least, ours have experienced 4°f with only minor leaf spotting.
