Our Rx Clear® pH Plus is made from 100% soda ash which neutralizes acidic water and eliminates corrosion. Keeping your pool water balanced starts with making sure that your pool waters pH is at the desired levels. The ideal pH level is 7.4 to 7.6 ppm. When your pH level drops below 7.4, you'll want to use our pH Increaser to bring your pH level back up to the desired levels. When the pH level is too low, it can lead to corrosion of metallic pipes, etched plaster, accelerated loss of chlorine, and even skin irritation. Normal use is 1 lb per 10,000 gallons. NaCO3 (Sodium Carbonate, or Soda Ash).

Directions for Use:

• Make sure you test the water first with a reliable test kit.  If the pH is low (below 7.2) add this product according to the chart on the backside of the bottle.
• Pre-disolve the chemical in a plastic pail and slowly pour around the perimeter of the swimming pool while the filtration system is operating.
• Allow system to complete for 1 hour after application.
• Retest the pH.  If pH is still low, repeat process until the pH reaches (7.2 - 7.6).
