Brand new 35 amp potential starting relay typically found in Franklin Electric submersible pump control box. These relays are used with a three wire pump that have both start and run capacitors. Works with 1 to 3 horsepower pump. Relay has a fourth convenience terminal for interconnecting wiring connections if needed. This terminal does not connect to anything internal and is generally not used for submersible pumps.
Relays generally last a long time but routine short cycling of the pump may shorten its life. We advise keeping a spare relay, as well as spare start and run capacitors.
Service life at 16 amp is 500,000 operations, 35 amp is 200,000 operations, at 50 amp is 100,000 operations.
Relay comes with complete instructions and can be easily changed in minutes.
