Does the Royal MB30 Metal Cash Drawer Come with Keys?
Each Royal MB30 Metal Cash Drawer comes with two sets of keys allowing consumers to use the drawer as a stand-alone money manager. Key entry design makes it ideal for schools, churches, and other organizations who need to keep the money but do not necessarily have a point-of-sale-system. The unit also has a built-in hidden drawer release that allows you to open it without the key in an emergency.
Can You Use the Royal Metal Drawer with a Cash Register?
The Royal MB30 cash drawer can connect to your existing cash register as a replacement or an additional drawer. Use the RJ-11 interface cable to connect. If your system does not have an RJ-11 port, the MB30 has the Royal Trigger, which is an RJ-11 adaptor. The Trigger allows you to connect to any system that uses a USB interface, including a counter-top PC.
How Many Slots Does the MB30 Have?
Each MB30 cash register drawer has five slots for bills, enough room to hold ones, fives, tens, twenties and even hundreds or credit card receipts. It also has six coin slots; enough room for every denomination of coins and space to hold extra rolls. The drawer also has a security slot on the front of the box which allows you to add credit card receipts, checks and large bills into the system without opening the drawer.
