These natural gemstone beads are made from the metamorphic rock known as Tiger's eye. Tiger's eye is known for its golden color and silky luster. Stone for such beads is primarily mined in South Africa and Western Australia. In some cultures, Tiger's Eye is said to ward off the evil eye, and is also known for its therapeutic properties. These beads measure approximately 5 x 5mm, with each strand measuring approximately 16" in length. Hole size measures approximately 1mm. Multiple strands may be pictured.
