IN 1994, THE YEAR AFTER WE SOLD OUR RESTAURANT, WE DONATED 15 OF THESE 25 PAINTINGS TO ACADIAN VILLAGE IN LAFAYETTE, LA.
THESE 15 PAINTINGS REMAINED ON EXHIBIT AT ACADIAN VILLAGE FROM 1994 TO 2007 WHEN THEY WERE SOLD TO A PRIVATE COLLECTOR.

depicts the culture and lifestyles of our ancestors
and their remarkable ability to preserve their identity as Cajuns.
My husband and I are the former owners of Landry's Seafood in Henderson and commissioned George Rodrigue to
paint this wonderful series of art which so beautifully tells our story as Acadians/Cajuns.
