On long summer days and warm city nights, you need trousers that help you stay cool, and the Eclipse 2 uses polyester mesh panels on the full length, both front and back, to bring climate control to your lower half. The extensive use of this highly ventilated textile will help you cope with the heat radiating from the motorcycle or reflecting off the road. The rest of this next-gen's construction is 600-denier polyester, which is renowned for being extremely abrasion-resistant.
The unfussy Eclipse 2 sleek silhouette is a subtle nod to the sartorial simplicity of the chino design. It's the classic shape and cut - a regular fit with two tailored back pockets and two front diagonal zipped pockets. Technical detailing doesn't detract from the understated design of the Eclipse 2. Like reflectives welded onto the fabric around the ankle that add visibility from different angles.
Most urban riding means a lot of stopping and starting - so you'll be glad of the lightweight feel of the Eclipse 2 trousers: open weave mesh optimises airflow and this textile's open weave also frees your range of movement and, equally, the CE-rated armour is protective without being bulky at the hips and knees. And the SEESMART knee protection can be height-adjusted to personalize the fit at this high-risk impact area.

Fantastic lightweight trousers

Was after something for riding in warmer climates, that are comfortable but still have protection. Putting these on the fit feels great, they are tight enough not to be baggy but don't feel so restricting like jeans do. Very comfortable, lightweight, great finish and feel. Come with knee protectors as standard, I bought the hip protectors to go in the sleeve and you can barely feel them. Colour is very dark almost black. I'm normally a 32", bought the medium short and they are perfect. Very happy and deffo recommend. Not rated 5* as I haven't tested out their capability in a fall yet!
Very Comfortable For Summer

I was looking for a pair of riding trousers which were cool and comfortable and these definitely fit the bill. They're also a great price. I would say that they are perfect for temperatures above 15 degrees C but below that they may feel a bit on the cool side without wearing base layers. They've obviously been constructed with comfort in mind which you can see from the construction with extra fabric in the places that need it. That said these are neither too loose or too tight in terms of fit - spot on IMO. Bear in mind that they come with knee armour but the hip armour is extra (there is provision for it). I bought the hip armour and I would say it was a very reasonable price.
Excellent airflow

Very comfortable with excellent air flow. Nice deep pockets secured by zips. Go for a shorter leg size than normal. I have a 33 inch inside leg and the short length fits me fine.
