Inside a very beautiful and elaborate gold paper and 

silver thread decoration surrounds the holy relics

In back a very important red wax seal 

insure the integrity of  the relic

the silky threads that seal the reliquary are intact.

The ecclesiastical coat of arms engraved in wax seal

  corresponds to the coat of arms engraved on the document

In the document there is the description of:

the relic:

“ PARTICULAM EX  SEPULCRO S.JOANNIS AP.EV. ."

the shrine:

   collocavimus in theca de Aurichalco deargentato ovalis figurae unico crystallo munita 

the seal:

“, funicolo serico colrois rubri colligata.ac sigillo nostro signata  "

and finally dated:

    Romae    die 15 Aprilis       1845
