Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Sprague Tel-Ohmike TO-6 (not the TO-6A). At this point the original Sprague Tel-Ohmikes are over 60 years old, and the old parts are weak and failing, with leaky capacitors and drifted resistors. We will make them new again!
This kit includes replacement film and electrolytic capacitors and a new 83k ohm 5W resistor to replace resistor R8. It also includes instructions to explain how to install everything. This does not include any tubes or other resistors. New caps are Supertech axial electrolytic capacitors and Supertech MPT film capacitors--you will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I rebuild vintage gear. The parts included are exact or extremely close replacements.
I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding tube gear is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. Please see my pictures for details.
