Fantastic Original Gem Owyhee Picture Jasper slab!
Owyhee Jasper is a popular type of picture jasper and is sometimes called the "king of picture jaspers" because of its depictions of desert or mountain and sky of the area where it was found.
Owyhee Picture Jasper is found in the Owyhee Mountains in eastern Oregon, near the Idaho-Oregon border, and south of Homedale, Idaho.

3 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 3/16 thick.
It is said that this material was found in the 1967 by Bruce Markus and Ralph Fulson while they were following wild Mustangs in their V.W. They saw the pretty rock and collected a few hundred pounds. Later they came back and claimed the area.
It's becoming increasingly rare because the area where it was traditionally mined has been turned into a park and the mine is now buried in and closed.
