RARE WWII PHOTO ENCLOSED US Army WAC Womans Army Corps GODDESS ATHENA Insignia Set in Center a Silvertone Trinket Box. The piece is Embossed on the front & Inside is the only thing found in this Box, a PHOTO OF AN ARMY OFFICER Held in by a spring-loaded clip in the lid. The photo is inscribed on the reverse "WITH LOVE ARTHUR SEPT 1944"! Measures approx. 3 1/2" X 2 3/4" and about 7/8" THICK! and is in excellent used condition! This is a RARE, sweetheart trinket box, with a love PHOTO, from the WWII period and appears to be the WACs OWN!! Just recently acquired.
