This is a Super Cool! Super RARE! Vintage/Antique CAMEL HAIR WATER COLOR BRUSHES *IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING* that was placed by the register at the old "Dime Stores" of the 1940s such as Woolworth or Winky's. There are 105 watercolor paint brushes all marked "Korea" and their size (1-6).

My Grandpa was a Paint Brush Salesman from the time he came home from World War 2 in the 40's until he retired in the late 1980's. This is one of his "samples" he would take to the "Dime Stores" and the stores would get these and place them by the front register for whoever needed a paint brush.

The ORIGINAL CONTAINER is also marked "Korea" and is 8 inches high and 4 1/4 inches across. It's hard plastic and inside is a plastic sleeve that comes out. It has red, white and black design and designates each brush size and then the store can fill in the "Cent" price per brush underneath.

Everything is in VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT CONDITION except that each size brush was in a rubber band that has disintegrated with age. Some of it got stuck on handles and discolored the original cardboard divider. I tried to get most of it off, but some handles may have a slight bump or some old rubber band that I missed. I did put new rubber bands on each size to hold them together during transport.
