Rare Vintage Bird Cage Thermometer Weather Station Domed Dome Gold Tone

research I've have done shows this was made in France in 1920s. I cannot confirm this. I do know it's at least 50 years old. I believe it works. it appears accurate, but i cannot guarantee that either. there is some cracking around the outside ring. shown in photos. this is a very cool and unique piece! About 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide. can get exact measurements if needed. thank you!
