This rare vintage 1940's tin pie safe bread box features a red strawberryl design, with a latched door for easy access. Made of metal with a farmhouse style, this original bread bin from the United States has a unique pie shelf for added storage. With a classic 2 hinged lid and a compact size of 13 inches in length, 11 inches in height, and 11 inches in width, this collectible piece is a charming addition to any kitchen for storing and showcasing bread.


The strawberry seems to be stickers, not painted on. This has  been sitting on a shelf for 35 years in my MIL house as decoration. That is all I know of it.
