Rare Set of 6 Comicaps Bottle Caps 1935 Goldenrod Beer Comicap Katzenjammer Kids

This is a rare and charming set of 6 Comicaps circa 1935 featuring characters from the "The Katzenjammer Kids” comic strip drawn by artist Rudolph Dirk. These bottle caps are from a series used on Goldrod Beer produced by the Hittleman-Goldenrod Brewery in Brookyn, New York.

Each cap measures approximately 1-3/16" (31mm) in diameter, with a cork lined backing. The cap skirt is printed with the words GOLDENROD BEER "COMICAPS" ©1935 "TASTES BETTER"
