brand new Junglee Pacific Hunter Bowie knife made in Seki, Japan. Seki is renound for it's top quality knife makers and many of Junglee's best blades were made in Seki, including this one. The blade is AUS8 stainless steel, which is to this day, a favored stainless among top Seki knife makers, includeing Hattori and others. AUS8 is a very strong Vanadium Steel that holds a great edge and is very resistant to staining. This knife was clearly inspired by the great American Bowie knives, including the great MACV-SOG Bowie / Fighting / Survival knife.
