RARE Lot 10 Antique French Journal des Demoiselles Cross Stitch Patterns c1880s #8
A rare find 10 in total, hard to say how many of these have survived over the years. Included with the weekly magazine Journal des Demoiselles c1880s. These were found in the attic of a large manoir in the SW of France in the Vienne region. I found a huge cloth bag of these that are all from the late 1800s, saved over the years but appear to have never been used. A variety of borders to repeat, wall hangings, florals and one large one for a "Fauteuil" or arm chair, which has a couple of tiny holes and fold separations which I have secured with tape - dated Janvier 1891. The colors are still vibrant so easy to color match. Slightly raised textured surfaces. Perfectly useable or frame as decorative art. Various sizes see measurements below plus everything in-between.

Smallest - 9.1/2" x 4.1/4"
