RARE(ER) Diana Model 6 “Original Beeman” 10m/Sporter Pellet Pistol .177 in very good overall cosmetic condition and perfect operating condition, with complete operating manual, scope mount, two extra original front sight inserts (for a total of 3 included inserts), original showcase box, and a few extra parts. This is the rarest version of the Diana Model 6 as it has the “Original” Made for Beeman engraving which increases the original value by 25%. This one is a definite collector’s item – especially in this condition. Moreover, this pistol had the innards redone in 2014 by Umarex which included replacement of all the springs, piston seals, and breach seal including the internal lubrication and making sure the Giss double contra-piston action was all working well – so this pistol has about $150 (2014 pricing!) put into it assuring it’s going to function like new. I have not shot it much since then so it needs more use that it gets. The rear sight can be removed and the dovetail scope mount inserted in its place for the use of a red dot or pistol scope. This pistol does not have a safety just so that you are aware.
This Model 6 consistently currently chronies around 380fps with 8.18gr wadcutters which is close to the advertised 400fps spec. Produced from 1960 to 1978, this one appears to have a “10/78” stamp on it so it’s almost 47 years old. It has a 7.1” tapered barrel, adjustable trigger, 16.5” OAL, and weighs 2.9lb. I am only selling this pistol to thin the herd as it’s a shame to let any of these iconic pistols fall into disuse – it’s time to allow someone else to enjoy it. A nice addition to your pistol collection and fun to shoot indoors or outdoors. The pistol is in very good cosmetic condition but does have some minor wear on the plastic as shown in pics-- all my pistols listed (unless specified otherwise) are clean and in perfect working condition.
This pistol has plenty of other info and reviews on the web so I don’t plan to provide any further dissertation extolling the virtues of this airgun, so please feel free to do your research to decide if this is an airgun you would like to own.
