Quilt Kit~Picture It~62" x 80" Moon and Sun Panel Quilt pattern and fabric

Just picture it..... a beautiful and fun dimensional quilt designed for 24" x 43" panels or large scale fabrics.  Techniques include simple piecing and a fail proof circle that is machine appliqued to the corner.  The quilt measures 62" x 80" and is perfect for the confident beginner.

FABRIC: It has been said that the sun warms our hearts and the moon soothes our souls, we think that this collection will do both.  Artist David Galchutt has brought his sublime style to the heavenly bodies in a true celestial celebration.  The imaginative panel and beautiful border stripe are complemented by sun, moon and medallions - perfect for quilts, home decor and sew much more.

100% cotton fabric.  Machine wash cold, mild detergent, delicate cycle, do not bleach, tumble dry low, remove promptly.  For best results, pre-washing is recommended.

The overall finished size of this panel quilt as shown in picture 1 is 62" x 80".

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Picture It pattern and instructions designed by Leigh Headington of The Sweet Tea Girls along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1.  Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Moon & Sun, New Hue and Superior Solids collections by Benartex.  Pictures 2 thru 10 show the pattern and fabrics included in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

About 8-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.  NOTE: The Superior Solid Cypress fabric replaces the muslin called for in the pattern for the backs of your two circle appliques.  A 1/4 yard of Sulky Totally Stable Iron-on Tear-Away Stabilizer in white is also included for the appliques.

The pattern recommends 5 yards for your backing fabric assuming a standard 44/45" width along with a 70" x 88" piece of batting.  Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or for pattern design matching.  Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY ORGANIZE OR MARK THEM USING YOUR FAVORITE METHOD!
