The Pre WW1 US Canteen W/Strap is a collectible military item from possibly 1800's. It features a traditional canteen design with a durable strap for easy transport. This piece of militaria would have been used by soldiers in the field during the time period before World War 1. It is a fascinating piece of history and a great addition to any collection of military memorabilia. Has alot of stains as seen in pictures. Looks like there is a name on outside but is very faint. Has letters embossed around the top of canteen where the cork is. Has a Letter C on one side also. Please see pictures as they are part of the description.
