PRODUCT FACTS FOR PPG PROLUXE LOG & SIDING

 Temperature
  • 50° – 90° F (10° – 32° C)
Application Methods
  • Natural Bristle Brush for Oil Based Stains
  • Roller (must be back brushed)
  • Airless Sprayer (must be back brushed)
  • Allow surface to dry minimum 24 hrs, then apply second coat
Surface Preparation
  • TSP or TSP-PH, Bleach and Water
  • Pressure washer
  • Clean and Dry
  • Free of Mold and Mildew
  • Moisture Content 18% or Below
Frequency
  • 2-3 years on South and West
  • 3-4 years on North and East
Special Instructions
  • If rain is expected the next day, Proluxe should not be applied. Inappropriate temperature, rain and higher humidity will affect the drying process. Proluxe may become white and hazy.
  • Back-brushing required
  • Stir container every 15 minutes
  • Maintain a wet edge to avoid lap marks
  • Two Coat Application
  • Do Not Use on Decks and Railings
  •  No additional mildew prevention additive is recommended
Drying Time
  • Allow 24 hours drying time between coats
  • Low temperature, high humidity or poor ventilation will increase drying time
