This when mixed with resin will stick to surface rust. If applied to flaking rust, painted steel pole barn metal, plastic, treated lumber it will peal off. On surface rusty steel it seam to change the rust to black and stick quite well when I took a hammer and chisel to it. This is One gallon only NOS

Check your resin for crystallization at the bottom of the can before using this hardener. Premix hardener silica settles at the bottom.
Should you resin have crystals at the bottom just get a steel 5 gallon can put some water on and boil will change it back to useable resin. However allow it to cool or it will kick off before u have time to apply
