Preparation
In order for the colour pigments to penetrate evenly into the plastic surface, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned before treatment. Use a standard silicone-free cleaner or methylated spirit to clean and prepare the parts to be dyed. (not included)
Important Note: For small parts or dashboards, we recommend coloring the parts only when removed. This allows you to reach hard-to-reach places better and achieve a more even coloration. Dripping and smudging in unwanted places is avoided and you save yourself time-consuming masking.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Is the color also suitable for polypropylene garden furniture?
If the garden furniture has a rough/matte surface, you can easily apply the paint.
However, if the surface is smooth and shiny, it should be roughened with sandpaper or similar, otherwise there may be adhesion problems.
Can you also mix the colors together to achieve a lighter/darker color?
The colors can be individually mixed with each other.
Can the light tones cover dark plastic parts?
Basically, it is possible to cover dark or even black plastic parts with a lighter color. To do this, you should apply the paint several times with the sponge until the desired result is achieved. Allow the applied paint to dry well between dyeing operations.
However, multiple dyeing operations may cause stiffening of the material.
Does the paint cover minor scratches?
Yes, the paint repairs small scratches.
Can you use regular cockpit spray after dyeing?
We advise against this to avoid chemical reactions.
Is the product suitable if the soft paint on a dashboard has been removed?
Basically, you can easily color the dashboard as long as it is grease-free and silicone-free.
The soft paint must have been thoroughly removed, otherwise it may stain due to the different surface textures.
Is the product suitable for dyeing car headliners with smaller holes?
Yes. Our product "Perfect Color" is well suited for this purpose.
Simply moisten the supplied sponge well and apply very thinly.
Then let dry well.
Repeat the process several times if necessary.
How long does it take before I can use the treated surfaces, such as a tarpaulin, again?
The treated surface can be reused after just two hours after everything has dried well. After drying for 7-8 days, it is also washable.
