this pioneer pl-630 is in great physical shape and functions well. the start stop functions when pressed, the speed selection works when pressed, the quartz lock even seems to work as the pitch needle centers itself when the button is pressed.
but, then the auto start stop functions when is activated and the tone arm is being moved there is a rattling sound emanating from inside. it's obvious some part or part of the motor that moves the tone arm is making that sound.
with that said, the tt functions and plays and even comes with a vintage headshell and an audio technica cartridge.
there are minor scratches and scuff here and there as is shown in the photos. most prominent are at the from outer edges where the dark gray finish is rubbed off, and right below the cartridge where some scuffs can be seen on the aluminum top surface. otherwise this tt is in great cosmetic shape.
the dust cover is original and also suffers from some scuffs and scratches. there are some dried drip marks on the inside of the cover as is shown.
this tt will be shipped with the three stabilizing screws in place. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PLAY IT WITHOUT REMOVING THE SCREWS.
