The Pioneer CT-F7171 is proof positive of a new level of sophistication in stereo cassette deck design and performance. Really much likes the top model F9191, this CT-F7171 model has been considered by many Audiophiles as the great sounding deck featuring warm audio character of tube sound which is very uncommon.

It is a front access deck, with the tape compartment located on the front panel - this unusual design blends perfectly with other Pioneer components and enables uniform in-rack mounting without wasting space or sacrificing convenience.

The listing is for a cassette deck unit, original shipping box and specs sheet only. NO remote, No tape, No cable, No other accessories included.

Due to the fact that most of the cassette tapes out there were more than half century old (50 years +) and might be magnetically degraded. Please consider owning the tapes in good physical condition and set the right expectations when playing vintage pre-recorded cassettes. Remember to clean the audio heads of the machine often as well.

If you happen to have sticky old cassette tapes, you would consider recondition it before play on this machine. The reel motors on FF or RW mode will slow-down or even stop in operation with sticky / degraded cassette tapes.

Note: The use of 100 or 120 minutes cassettes are not recommended for the side-load Pioneer cassette decks.

This vintage unit is in very good cosmetic condition but shown signs previous usage such as hairline scratches, small dings, chips, stains & discolored spots, epoxy spots, sticker note on the back, worn-out corners and edges... Please consider listing photos are important part of descriptions. Zoom in and check photos for more information.
