Decorative Apothecary Jar. I don't think it was ever used in a pharmacy, but the lady from whose estate I found it used it to store cotton balls. The decoration on the jar is a decal, not painted. My guess is that such replica type jars were sold in department stores for decorative use in the 1980's or 1990's. (But that is just a guess, but it came from a high end estate.) At any rate, it's cute and needs a home. It's a light blue with gold specs and gold trim. The closest crayon match in my box of 64 is periwinkle, but the periwinkle is darker.
