This Pennsylvania Railroad lantern is a Keystone Casey, with a matching PRR clear cast heavy old globe. It would be a terrific candidate to restore. THE FRAME is complete, sound and solid. It sits perfectly flat on a table top. stamped PRR on the lid. There is SURFACE ONLY rust overall and NO sign of any kind of pitting. The fount and burner are correct Caseys and the wick raiser works. The globe retainer is present inside the smoke dome. There is no wick. IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE - The lettering on the top of the smoke dome is light. On the very top of the lid are a couple of very small dents and one larger one that DOES extend down into the top row of holes below it, SEE OUR LAST TWO PHOTOS for the largest one. THE GLOBE is 5-3/8 inches tall, and is marked MACBETH No. 220 PEARL GLASS. It is in fine condition with strongly cast in 5/8 inch tall serif letters. There are NO cracks or cloudiness in the glass.
