Here is a survivor.  Original Paint Approach Sign for Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.  This sign is awesome for many reasons.  First, it never was repainted into PC colors.  Second, It was never repainted by a collector.  It retains is real pennsy paint.  That is important these days as there seems to be more reproductions on the market than real ones.  Unfortunately, many others were blasted and repainted which, adds to the problem which ones are real.  Well, there is no doubt on this.  Crackling old Pennsy Plate.  Real Railroad Petina.  Not something cast up in a local foundry, painted with somewhat weathered paint with the intention of passing it off for a real one.  I have a blurry picture of this sign when in used on the building.  It actually wasnt on a lamp post but, was on a lamp mount on the station.   I have posted pictures of the 1902 specs for approach signs as well.  Feel free to ask me question.  Picture 5 may help you answer questions.  Thanks!

I have to thin a few duplicate types out.  Keep watching, I've been listing some decent dupes.

I am also willing to meet in Eastern Pennsylvania.
