These easy-to-use spreaders can maintain the shape of your shoes while they sit in your closet. Or can expand the leather or fabric of your shoes to enlarge them slightly. You simply turn one plastic end to adjust the screw mechanism to the needed length and then wedge it in place inside the shoe or boot or sneaker. I used them to give my bunions a little extra space in my narrower shoes. They did the trick and I was able to wear those shoes without the discomfort. Or they could be used to widen narrow heels.
