Very beautiful Tibetan tapestry painting/print Thangka. It’s of Guru Rinpoche, or Padmasambhava, a significant figure who helped bring Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. He is revered as the founder of the Nyingma school, the oldest of the four major traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
Not sure if this is a painting or a print but it’s definitely handmade. I can’t tell based on looking at it closely. Could go either way.

Has a silk brocade border with gorgeous designs. It has a yellow covering sheet as well. Not sure if that’s silk as well. It can be put over the painting or flipped over and tucked on the back. It’s a little see through. The sheet doesn’t completely tuck in on the back on the top part, but it mostly does.
It has a wooden rod on the bottom. One side has metal and the other side does not. The metal has a small round indentation on one side. The wood on the side has some grooves. It is not cracked.
In good conditon. There’s some wear on the yellow sheet. I think that may be how it was designed. The top has a small yellow string on one side but not on the other. There’s wrinkling. Please refer to photos for wear.
The silk brocade border has some minor lose strings on the corners in some places. Can be removed, took close up.
There’s two spots on the top of the painting that may be tiny wear or that’s how the painting was made. In closeups.
