Suggested Painting technique: Using a rattle can, follow the instructions on the can of spray paint. Make sure the paint is for metal.
First, Clean the dirt skirt with rubbing alcohol.
Lay the Dirt Skirt face up on top of a clean piece of cardboard, or in a large, clean shallow cardboard box (you'll want the cardboard surface to be big enough to allow you to do a good job of spraying the paint - while protecting your table, or floor, from unwanted painting or overspray.
Spray 1-3 very light coats (almost a mist) in a side-to-side motion, using the distance and dry times between coats as listed on the can of paint so you don't fill in the stamped lettering on the Dirt Skirt.
Wait for one side to dry completely, then repeat for the flip side.
