The 1960's were a very turbulent time in American History, and the Vietnam war divided Americans. This is a poster printed in 1969 saying "Give a Damn, Mend America" is a call to action, urging people to actively care about the issues facing the United States and to work towards repairing the divisions and problems within the country, essentially saying that Americans need to be more engaged and concerned about the state of their nation and take steps to improve it. The poster is artist signed "Lynne" with a "69". The poster has foxing around the edges, no tears. It measures about 24 x 36 inches.
